Dear Participants,

Welcome to the Dreams and Ambitions Learning Circle for February - May 2011.

Dreams and ambitions, plans and goals and firm vision can help a teenager to build bright future. This LC is about exchanging information about making dreams and ambitions true: to have determination and passion for something, have dreams and ambitions about own skills and passions, set goals and implement the plans to become an active member of the global society.

Dear Participants

Thanks for all the hard work so far. We have gotten to know each other much better and I'm so glad that you are making use of the option to post photos and images with your work, as it always makes the wiki more interesting and exiting.

I just want to ask again if you could be aware of the size of photos and images you are submitting. Please go through all the photo's you have posted on the wiki thus far and make sure they are not bigger than 75KB.

You can make use of the website mentioned before http://www.shrinkpictures.com to resize your photos. Another option is to use what you have available on your computer. Here are just two examples: Microsoft Office Picture Manager, which has the function to compress your pictures to a more suitable size for webpages, or Paint, that gives you the option to resize images.

Please attend to image/photo size this week. If there are any big photo's or images on the wiki by the end of the week, we will have to remove them and ask you to then reload them in a smaller format.

Good luck

Sincerely, Charlotte Tervit, Facilitator
